This page is kept as a record. In late August 2026 we offered ten website designs free of charge to the first ten businesses that got in touch through our contact form. All ten went within about a week, and the offer is now closed.
What the free design covered
Each of the ten businesses got the same design work a paying client gets:
- a design built around their own brand, customers and goals
- a layout that works on phones as well as it does on a desktop
- page structure planned around getting visitors to call, book or buy
- clean, standards-based code
- two rounds of changes
The ten sites ranged from local trades to a small online shop, and each one started with a conversation about what the business actually needed the site to do.
What it didn't cover
Domain registration and web hosting had to be bought separately by the client.
We designed and built the site for nothing, but the domain name and the hosting were the client's to pay for. Where people asked, we pointed them at providers we trust and helped them set things up.
Why we ran it
Two reasons. We kept meeting good businesses with websites that were letting them down, and a free build was the quickest way to show what a better one could do for them. We also wanted to grow our portfolio with real client work rather than mock-ups.
