Moving a domain you already own
Unlock the domain at your current registrar and ask them for the authorisation code — sometimes called an EPP or auth code. Start the transfer with it and the remaining time on your registration carries over, plus another year. Nothing is lost by moving.
Common questions
Who is the domain registered to?
You. It is registered in your name with you as the legal registrant, not held in ours. You can move it away whenever you like and we will not make that difficult.
Why is the renewal price different from the first year?
Registries discount the first year on some extensions and not others. We show both figures above so the second year is never a surprise — .online and .site are the ones to look at twice.
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Yes, free, on every extension that permits it. Your name and address are kept out of the public record. .co.uk applies its own rules for non-trading individuals.
Can I move a domain I already own?
Yes. Unlock it at your current registrar, get the authorisation code, and start a transfer below. A transfer adds a year to whatever time is left, so you lose nothing.
Do I have to host with you to register a domain?
No. Point the nameservers wherever you like. If you do host with us the DNS is set up for you at no charge.
